Our league as a fairly lenient Home Team policy where as long as you show up and pay your dues you get to play. My motto has always been “your team is only as strong as its weakest player” so I really try to work with everyone to improve. I know that I probably take this a little too personally but I really hate it when one person can be such a negative impact on the rest of the team!!
Dude, I have also been a home team captain for two years… I would not feel the same guilt that you do. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. If this skater is not “getting it” then she won’t get it in a game, and she won’t get played. :)
